Potato Pakoda / Pakora is a tasty North Indian Snacks. Pakodas / Pakoras are a good easy to prepare snacks for teatime. It is basically a North Indian Cuisine. It is commonly available in streets of north India. 

Pakoda / Pakora is a common, easy to prepare snacks which does not require any expertise in cooking. People love to prepare this recipe during rainy season and enjoying the monsoon with hot pakoras. Aloo Pakora is a very common pakora recipe with common ingredients like potato and besan.

Ingredients

Besan: 1 cup

Potato: 2 number (medium)

Onion: 1 number (small)

Green Chilly: 1 number

Coriander Leaves: as required

Salt: As per taste

Oil: for frying


Method to Prepare Potato Pakoda / Pakora

1. In a bowl add besan, finely chopped potato, onion, green chilly, coriander leaves & salt. Mix well in a semi thick batter.

2. Heat oil in a deep bottomed pan.

3. With spoon drop small pakoda’s in oil.

4. Fry till golden brown in colour.

Serve with tomato ketchup.
